About Me

My name is Miztli Rose and I am a British-Mexican yoga teacher based in London. I first started practising yoga whilst training as an actor at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Yoga taught me to connect movement with breath,  and provided me with the tools to strengthen, challenge and reset my mind, body and spirit. After practising regularly for five years, I decided to undertake my 200-hour teacher training in 2019 with HotPod Yoga Studio. As a teacher, I am particularly interested in the power of yoga to help enhance creativity, and I am passionate about helping students nurture themselves through movement. During lockdown, I have been teaching lunchtime yoga classes via Instagram with the wonderful yoga teacher Lindsey Huebner, and we recently launched our first online course. I am enjoying running my own group classes and 1-2-1s as well as delivering corporate classes for ASiT, City Girl Network and Platform. In June 2021 I joined the teaching team at HotPod Yoga London and Yoga Point Brixton. I've also recently started volunteering at Brockwell community Gardens, assisting Sally Ramsden with her Yoga and Wellbeing sessions for migrant and refugee women.  When I'm not teaching, I continue to work as a performer and comedy writer.
