This January, instead of throwing yourself into intense resolutions or trying to become a “new you,” why not spend seven weeks gently deepening your connection with the person you already are? Beginning on Tuesday 5th January, this seven-week course will take us on an a journey through the seven main chakras. Each week, our yoga and meditation practice will be themed around a different chakra, incorporating movement, breathwork, meditation and reflection. You’ll also receive a simple piece of optional weekly “homework”—perhaps a journaling prompt, meditation or small practice—to help you continue exploring the theme between sessions. No previous knowledge of yoga philosophy or the chakras is needed. Week 1 – Root Chakra: Grounding Finding steadiness, safety and a stronger sense of belonging. Week 2 – Sacral Chakra: Creativity Exploring joy, emotion, creativity and our capacity to flow with life. Week 3 – Solar Plexus Chakra: Confidence Connecting with personal power, courage and the confidence to take action. *Week 4 – Heart Chakra: Connection Opening to love, compassion, forgiveness and our relationship with ourselves and others. Week 5 – Throat Chakra: Expression Exploring honest communication, authentic expression and the courage to use our voice. *Week 6 – Third Eye Chakra: Intuition Creating space for inner wisdom, imagination and clearer seeing. Week 7 – Crown Chakra: Connection Reflecting on meaning, awareness and our connection to something greater than ourselves.
